1861 Census Alexander Wilson Family Scotland

My great, great grandparents on my Dad’s mother’s side were Alexander Wilson and Elizabeth Dockar.

The 1861 census (source ScotlandsPeople) has the following information on this family.

Address:  47 Darfash  Parish of Gamrie

Alexander Wilson – age 43 Farmer of 11 acres and shoemaker, born Banffshire, Gamrie

Elizabeth Wilson – wife age 43, born Aberdeenshire, Kingloward.

Margaret Daughter – age 14 Scholar born Banffshire, Gamrie

Alexander – Son age 12 Scholar born Banffshire, Gamrie

John – Son age 10 Scholar born Banffshire, Gamrie

William Son age 7  Scholar born Banffshire, Gamrie

Martin Son age 4  born Banffshire, Gamrie

Number of children from 5 to 15 attending school – 4

Number of rooms with one or more windows – 2

    NOTE YOUR ANCESTOR WHO LIVED AT DARFASH. MY G.G.G.GRANDFATHER JAMES WILSON WHO ALSO LIVED AT DARFASH WAS BORN ABOUT 1816 HAD A BROTHER ALEXANDER. THEY WERE THE SONS OF JAMES WILSON AND ISABELLA INNES. ANY CONNECTION?
