SNGF: I write like

Randy Seaver of Geneamusings has challenged us to Saturday Night Genealogy Fun.  We are to submit some of our writings to the I Write Like website and see just who we write like!

This fun game has been making the rounds on Facebook.  I chose three blog posts for the test.

Apparently I’m somewhat fragmented as I write like –

James Joyce* (2 February 1882 – 13 January 1941) was an Irish writer and poet, widely considered to be one of the most influential writers of the 20th century.

Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.* (November 11, 1922 – April 11, 2007) was an American novelist who wrote works blending satire, black comedy, and science fiction.

Howard Phillips Lovecraft* (August 20, 1890 – March 15, 1937) was an American author of horror, fantasy, and science fiction, especially the subgenre known as weird fiction.

The H.P. Lovecraft connection came from my blog post on Early Irish Methodists!  I must say I’m surprised by all of the results.  I am a list maker, scientific type who tends to love details.  Satire, comedy, and science fiction don’t even figure into the equation.  Who knew!
